Difficile d'échapper aux classements de meilleurs guitaristes qui fleurissent comme le muguet au printemps. Sauf que là c'est ZE journal pop rock mainstream de référence qui s'y met. C'est surtout l'occasion de taper une causette (comme dirait Jean Valjean) sur une liste toujours plus ou moins subjective. (Je n'ai d'ailleurs pas la méthodologie mais ce sont surement les journalistes du magazine qui ont donné leur avis).

On a Kurt Cobain en 12ème place. Etant donné qu'il n'est réputé pour son jeu ultra-technique, j'imagine que le classement vise à classer l'influence des guitaristes plutôt que leurs performances : la prime va au feeling et à la créativité.

Ce qui est assez bizarre c'est l'absence de Django Reinhardt, Steve Vai, Wes Montgomerry, Baden Powel...

En tout cas le blues est à l'honneur avec 3 Bluesmen dans le top 5 :-)
Enfin dernier commentaire : j'aurais certainement mis SRV avant Clapton... faut pas déc.... non plus !

selon moi il fait le top 5 ou 10.

l'absence de steeve Vai plus le mauvais classement de Zappa m'a fait bondir !!!
dans ce cas en terme de créativité on aurait pu rajouter robert waters!

Robbert Fripp à la 34eme place (c'est déjà pas mal, bien souvent il est oublié.)
Jimmy Page à la 9eme... Selon moi il ferait parti du top 5 mais bon...

Un peu du grand nimporte quoi ce classement quand même.
